Slave to Media

As Dante enters the 8th circle of Hell, he is confronted by his beloved turned sex slave to Lucifer. I find it very interesting that the very tales and rituals of the pagans that are condemned are themselves given homage. In Greek Mythology, Persephone eats pomegranate seeds from the underworld causing her to be bound there. In this mythos, Beatrice eats an unspecified seed that causes her total surrender to Lucifer. Still not sure how it’s going to play out, but I don’t remember this weird satanic sexual tryst in the Divine Comedy… maybe I should re-read it.    

While playing through Dante’s Inferno the second time (due to a power surge, my halfway completed game save was destroyed), it has become obvious that the game is an epic example of badassery. After descending beyond the circle of anger, the music changes, the mood changes, the game really steps up its….. game. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
